Apostolic and Prophetic Leaders

“So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22; WEB).

The apostolic and the prophetic are the two power twins. You cannot separate one from the other. God is indeed doing a new thing. When God is doing a new thing, He expects the church or His church to co labor with Him. When God move at one level for a certain time and we move with Him, He expects us to move with Him when He moves from that level to the other. The bible declares that we are no more strangers and foreigners, but we are now fellow citizens with the saints. The bible goes on to say that we are now of the household of God. Being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

To be foreign or to be a stranger in God simply means that we are not established upon His foundation. The foundation that God recognize is that of the apostles and prophets. The church that which is of God, it has to have the prophetic and apostolic dimensions. These dimensions help the church to walk with God and be able to treasure His presence. The church without the prophetic will have activity without connectivity. The church without the apostolic dimension will have a structure without foundation. The apostolic and prophetic leaders are people who are operating under the cooperate anointing to raise breakthrough believers around the globe.

The church of the heartbeat of God is the church that is guaranteed of positive succession. These kinds of leaders have the ability to reproduce themselves to their sons, so that even when they are gone, when they have passed on to be with the Lord, the momentum of the revival will not die but continue. These kind of leaders, the apostolic and the prophetic, they raise breakthrough believers with the pioneering anointing to carry the mandate of God on earth. The work of the kingdom is too much; therefore, accurate people are required to carry the heart of God. In the third day of the Lord, the movement of the church is governed by the voice of the Lord; therefore the prophetic enables the church to hear the voice of the Lord that is leading the church. We need people who understand what is happening to lead us into what God is doing. The prophetic dimension has the ability to raise the army that is like the army of God (EZEKIEL 37).

THE PROPHETIC DIMENSION

“However, stay about half a mile behind them. Don't come any closer to them so that you will know which way to go because you have not gone this way before." (JOSHUA 3:4; GW)

The Levites here represents the prophetic dimension, because they were the one who connected people with God. They were worshipful people and intercessors, just as prophets are. Now, the prophetic is responsible of giving direction, as God is moving in a total new move, this means that He is using a total new dimension and a total new way. If the house doesn’t have the prophetic leaders, the church won’t know which direction to take. The prophetic connect and bring down to the church the direction from the Lord. A church without a prophet is like a nation without a king, that nation is vulnerable, it is exposed to every attach. The church that moves but with God is the church that has the prophetic direction from the Lord. Prophets give us the direction in which God is moving, so that we can move with Him.

“The Sovereign LORD never does anything without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.” (AMOS 3:7; GNB)

The church that has the prophetic dimension, it will become the first to know about everything that the Lord wants to do on earth. That church will operate from the place of knowing, nothing will be hidden from them, they will know about things that are to happen before they take place. If the church lacks this dimension, things will just happen and they will just be surprised about the happenings.

The prophetic destroys the spirit of religion by updating the church about the current activities of God. When the church is not updated on current activities, it will remain in the previous activities which the Lord was doing but no longer doing them. A religious yoke is broken in the presence of these leaders.

THE APOSTOLIC DIMENSION

“Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man: And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?” (JOSHUA 4:4-6; KJV)

Looking at the above scripture, the number twelve represent the apostolic grace or governance. The church with this kind of a dimension, they are concern about the future. The church will be able to raise leaders who have the future in their minds. The apostolic enables the church to raise believers which are full of the future, believers which are ready to let God’s impact through their lives to continue into the future they won’t see through sons. Raising people with global hearts in the interest of God. They raise breakthrough believers with prevailing mentality for kingdom advancement.

“While Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit came down on all those who were listening to his message.” (ACTS 10:44; KJV)

The apostolic leaders ushers the church into the dimension of the Spirit. They raise believers in the Holy Ghost, to operate and be led by His Spirit. Raising sons out of believers, sons who will continue with the legacy, according to the book of Genesis 15. Abraham was concerned about a son who will take over and continue with the promise of God upon him. They transfer the dimension of the Holy Spirit which they had received from God to the church through their teachings.
